Hello, I’m Manfred – a nature lover, globetrotter and passionate wildlife photographer.

 

For over 35 years, my camera has accompanied me on my journeys through nature. I am particularly fascinated by wild animals in their natural habitats – genuine, unposed moments full of beauty and character.

​

My passion lies above all with birds and the little stories that nature writes every day: an intense gaze, perfect light or that brief moment that will never return exactly the same.

​

I am currently travelling in southern Africa – always with my camera, binoculars and plenty of patience in my luggage. As well as travelling, we are also involved in wildlife projects and voluntary work.

 

Through my photographs, I aim to inspire people with the beauty and fragility of nature. For those who allow themselves to be moved begin to look – and perhaps even to protect.

 

Nature conservation is a key part of my passion project: proceeds from image sales and talks go directly to wildlife projects in southern Africa.

As well as photography, I have worked professionally with dogs for over 35 years – so animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
